Datasheet
Dual Drive Support (2.5" & 3.5"): Despite being marketed as a 3.5-inch enclosure, it also fits 2.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs. It supports drive thicknesses up to 26mm for 3.5" drives and up to 9.5mm for 2.5" drives .
External Power Adapter Required: This is a key difference from pocket-sized enclosures. It comes with a 12V/2A power adapter that must be plugged into a wall outlet for the drive to spin up and be recognized .
USB 3.0 with UASP (5Gbps): Provides a standard USB 3.0 connection (Type-B port on the enclosure) with UASP support for faster transfers and lower CPU usage compared to basic USB 3.0 .
Tool-Free Installation: The drive installs by simply sliding off the back cover, inserting the drive, and closing it back up—no screws or tools are needed .
Built-in Power Switch & LED: Features a physical power button on the back to turn the enclosure on/off without unplugging cables. An LED indicator shows power and activity status .
Protection & Cooling: The interior has anti-shock rubber strips or EVA foam to secure the drive. The bottom of the case has ventilation holes to help dissipate heat from the drive .
