airMAX TDMA Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi, the NSM2 uses Ubiquiti's
airMAX TDMA protocol. It divides the signal into pre-designated time slots, which eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. This results in lower latency, higher throughput, and better scalability for multipoint networks
.
Power & Dual Ethernet Connectivity
- Passive PoE: Powered via a 24V, 0.5A PoE adapter (included). It supports an input voltage range of 22–27V DC and consumes a maximum of 5.5W .
- Dual Ethernet Ports: Features two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports. The secondary port supports software-enabled PoE passthrough, allowing you to power an external device like a security camera directly from the NanoStation, simplifying IP video integration .
