The box measures
147mm (L) x 87mm (W) x 35mm (D), making it suitable for standard UK double-gang faceplates (146mm x 86mm)
. It is ideal for surface-mounted twin sockets.
Cable Management & Knockouts
- Push-Out Tab: Features a 30 x 15mm D-shaped push-out tab for a clean, single cable entry point without needing to cut .
- Knockouts: Includes 4 knockouts located on the top, bottom, and sides for versatile cable routing .
- Trunking Compatibility: Designed to work with D-Line trunking systems via box adaptors, saving you from channelling walls .
Construction & Durability
- Material: Made from flame-retardant ABS plastic, which is more malleable and less brittle than traditional back boxes. This reduces the risk of damage during installation or if you need to drill additional cable entries .
- Safety: Fully safety tested and certified to BS4662:2006+A1:2009 .
- Finish: Supplied in white .
Mounting Details
- Fixed Lugs: Includes fixed lugs for secure faceplate attachment .
- Note on Fixings: Fixings and fittings are not supplied with the box, so you will need to provide your own screws for mounting .
