Electrical Bonding Function: The kit's cage nuts and screws are specially designed to pierce the paint or coating on the rack rails when tightened, creating a solid electrical connection between the equipment and the rack, ensuring effective grounding.
Standard Compliance: The product is designed to meet the EIA-310-D specification for racks and cabinets, and is also designed to meet the data center infrastructure standard TIA-942 (and TIA-607-B) for grounding and bonding requirements.
Kit Contents: A standard kit typically contains 50 #12-24 bonding cage nuts and 50 #12-24 x 1/2" bonding screws. The screws feature a combination head design that can be driven with a Phillips, flathead, or 5/16" (8mm) hex socket.
