⚙️ Key Features
- Intelligent Power Management: The switch can be powered using reverse power from any of the seven downlink ports, eliminating the need for a separate power source.
- Auto-Negotiation: Each port automatically detects the connected device's speed (10/100Mbps) and mode (half/full duplex), ensuring optimal performance.
- Non-Blocking Wire Speed: Ensures seamless forwarding and receiving of traffic without bottlenecks.
- Port-Based Isolation: Downlink ports are isolated from each other, preventing direct communication between clients and enhancing security.
- Surge Protection: Each port is equipped with surge protection to safeguard against voltage spikes.
- Over Voltage Protection: Protects the switch from damage caused by high voltage PoE injectors.
- Over Current Protection: Prevents damage due to excessive current flow.
- Cascading Capability: Supports cascading with other switches, allowing for expanded network coverage.(netstar.in)
🛠️ Application Scenario
Ideal for WISPs aiming to distribute internet connectivity from a single CPE to multiple clients without the need for individual power sources. The NS-RP071P-OD simplifies installation by utilizing existing PoE infrastructure and reduces operational costs by eliminating the need for separate power supplies or UPS systems at each client location.
