- PoE Power Budget: A total of 120W is shared across all PoE ports, with a per-port current limit of 1.0A at low voltage or 0.64A at high voltage .
Built-in UPS and Battery Charger
- Integrated UPS Switchover: Connect an external 24V battery (typically two 12V units in series) and the switch automatically becomes a UPS, maintaining uninterrupted PoE power during grid failures without rebooting devices .
- Smart Charging: The built-in charger supports flooded, AGM, and gel lead-acid batteries, as well as LiFePO₄ packs with an external BMS. It uses a three-stage charging profile (Bulk, Absorption, Float) with a current range of 0.2–1.6A .
- Temperature Sensor Included: A DS18B20 sensor fine-tunes charging voltage for lead-acid batteries and prevents charging outside safe temperature ranges, prolonging battery life .
- Power Prioritization: When input power is limited, PoE output takes priority—battery charging slows down first to keep essential devices online .
Outdoor Durability
- Weatherproof Enclosure: IP54-rated housing protects against dust and water spray, suitable for pole, wall, or mast mounting .
- Wide Temperature Range: Operates reliably from -40°C to +70°C, handling extreme heat and cold .
- Passive Cooling: Fanless design means silent operation with no moving parts to fail .
Management and Power
- SwOS Lite: A lightweight, web-based operating system for basic Layer 2 switching, VLANs, and PoE control. It supports configuring PoE ports as Auto, On, or Off, allowing compatibility with passive PoE devices .
- Flexible Power Input: Accepts 24–57V DC via a 2-pin terminal. For standard 802.3af/at PoE output, a 48V or higher power supply is required; 24V input results in passive 24V PoE .
- Monitoring: Built-in voltage, current, and CPU temperature monitoring, plus an alarm input for tamper detection .
- Included Accessories: Comes with hose clamps, a K-66 mounting kit, and the temperature sensor. Power supply and battery are not included .
