KSh 40,230(KSh 46,667 Incl VAT)
Warranty: 1 Year
Display Technology & Resolution: 15.4-inch LED-backlit IPS panel with a native resolution of 2880 x 1800 (220 pixels per inch), supporting millions of colors .
Scaled Resolutions: The system supports scaled resolutions including 1920 x 1200, 1680 x 1050, 1280 x 800, and 1024 x 640 for adjusting text and element size while maintaining sharpness .
Surface & Finish: Glossy finish with a glass front . Note that these are not touchscreens .
Replacement Form (Critical Note): Official and third-party replacement screens are typically sold as a complete top assembly (often called a "lid" or "assembly"). This includes the LCD panel, glass, aluminum housing, hinges, and usually the FaceTime camera and Wi-Fi antenna cables pre-attached . This makes the repair more expensive but significantly easier than replacing just the bare LCD.
Compatibility: The A1398 identifier covers models from Mid 2012 through 2015. While the screens are physically similar, the connector type or cable routing may vary slightly by year (e.g., 2013-2014 vs. Late 2015). You must match the screen to your specific MacBook's release year, not just the A1398 model number.
