Simultaneous Dual-Band Performance: The AP operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands at the same time. It delivers speeds of up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, for a combined total of 1750 Mbps .
Gigabit PoE Connectivity: It features two auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to be installed in locations where a power outlet is not easily accessible .
Flexible Management Options: It can be deployed as a standalone access point or centrally managed when used with specific D-Link Unified Switches or Wireless Controllers (such as the DWS-4026, DWC-1000/2000, or DWS-3160) .
Self-Configuring Cluster: For standalone deployments, multiple APs can form a cluster. Once one master AP is configured, the settings are automatically synchronized to up to 16 other APs, simplifying setup and management .
Green and Efficient Operation: It includes features like Wi-Fi Scheduler to turn off wireless functionality when not needed, and Automatic RF Management to reduce transmission power and interference when neighboring APs are detected .
Advanced Security & QoS: It supports business-class security including WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise, MAC address filtering, and Rogue AP detection. It also supports WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) to prioritize time-sensitive traffic like VoIP and video .
